Vision - Attract others to the passion of Jazz.
Mission - Provide a quality jazz atmosphere and publicity to attract and entertain, and to create repeat patronage for customers.
Goals - Entertain and inform, support musical networking, provide variety, versatility, and depth of repertoire, expand my musical vocabulary, establish recording skills, have fun and profit.
Professional Credits
- "Best Live Live Entertainment While Dining", awarded in 2006 and 2007 by the Post Crescent Golden Fork Award to The Seasons Restaurant while the John Pfeiffer Duo was regularly featured.
- Performances with the The Geriatric Jazz Group, North Coast Jazz Project, Train Wreck (the band), Island Jazz players, Easy Pieces (variety band), Jason Kipp and his Big Band, The Bobby Spahn Quartet, and The Ed Franks Review.
- Trio performances with Dr. Mark Moore, Joe and Ray Maas, and Mark Sackman D.M.A.
- Duo performances with Ron Hull (keyboards), Tom Powell (Trombone, bass, guitar), Roger Teske (bass), Gary Zimmer (all reeds and flute),and Frank Nelsen (bass, guitar).

- Performance jam sessions with musicians in San Fransisco and Cincinnati: Bob Kennedy, Rick House (Band), Nate Lopez (8-string guitarist), Jerry Dalton & the Blue Note Cats.
- John Pfeiffer solo performances at local art shows, private parties, and two family reunions (my Dad invited me, a personal high!)
- Geriatric Jazz Group. I had the privilege of performing over 250 jobs with the Geriatric Jazz Group including: four appearances at the Neenah Jazz Festival, Ripon Jazz Festival, Green Lake Music Festival, multiple performances on the Good Morning Wisconsin TV show, and repeat performances for the City of Appleton at Springfest, Art in the Park, and Octoberfest.
- JCP Recording - a not-for-hire recording studio owner/engineer/producer, completing multiple CD projects for multiple bands, band demos, commercial soundtracks, and radio broadcasts.
- Professional sound reinforcement for nationally recognized jazz, rock, and country bands. Roland Kirk, Taj Mahall, Pure Prairie League, Spirit, John Mellencamp (as a front man for Pure Funk Band), multiple music festivals including rock and bluegrass engagements.
- Professional rock and country bands. 1972-1975, multiple local Cincinnati bands providing full-time employment, affiliations with multiple professional artists.
- Music store employment. Seven year's experience during high school and college at two different music stores, including music instruction, instrument and amplifier repair, and sales work.
