About the Band......

This band played the Neenah Jazz Festival, weddings, corporate events, and at local clubs. The Island Jazz Players were the backup band to Ed Franks and his Frank Sinatra Show at the Milwaukee Club and the Bay Mills Casino (near Sault St. Marie, Michigan). The group features an eclectric blend of many types of music, including some of Ron's original compositions. Here are some picture collections of the band. About Ron......

Ron plays solo piano or with combo bands. Ron has been organizing combo bands since 1999 under the name of Island Jazz. The group ranges from a trio of piano, guitar, and drums to the addition of multiple horns to create an ensemble. One of the first appearances under this band name was at the 1999 Neenah Jazz festival. More information is available about Ron
